This hotel is ideally situated for shops, beach and local transport. It offers excellent value for money - very clean, comfortable and friendly. The food is excellent; it offers a wide choice. Although late in the season ( the children's club had finished )our 5 year old grandaughter had an excellent time using the indoor and outdoor swimming pools - she also enjoyed the nightly dancing. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I went to Benidorm this year for the first time with my mum and brother and thought it was great. Benidorm offers something for everyone and the Poseidon made everyone welcome. My favourite part of the day was watching the entertainment team do their performances, particularly cats and the cabarets, Gonzales was great! The staff were helpful, the food was good and everything was clean. What can I fault, just the fact that I couldn't stay there longer!

Top Local Tips for Benidorm

Cheaper than a taxi - use the airport bus When you arrive at Alicante make your way out of the airport and cross over the road to the bus stops. There is an airport bus which runs regularly into Benidorm Bus Station and only cost 7 Euros per adult (unsure how much for children). It takes approximately an hour to an hour and half and is a damn site cheaper than the 55 - 70 Euro taxi fare. When returning to the airport go to Benidorm Bus Station and purchase your tickets there. The staff are very helpful and speak good English - just tell them what time you need to be at the airport and they will tell you which bus will be the best for you. Purchase your tickets - pick you seats (only back to the airport) and away you go!

SHOPPERS PARADISE If you enjoy shopping then Benidorm will not disappoint, from markets to designer there is plenty for all.

Altea market number 10 bus outside hotel for 1 euro each way. Lovely scenery on route.
