Had a week here in Sept. Had a very pleasant stay. Found the staff friendly and helpful. The maids were always happy and did a great job. Manuel and the other bar staff were always happy happy happy. I am going back in Nov. for the fiesta.

I had the best time and wish that we had booked 2 weeks. Perfect hotel to meet people. Not great for young kids cuz of all the young adults and nothing to play with. Room clean, balconys with every room. Gorgeous pool. Trustworthy cleaners. Manuel the bar man downstairs is lovely and friendly. He makes the best sangria in the world, seriously, try it!!!
Gonna miss all the Newcastle lads we met out there and Jall the others, best holiday i've eva had!!

Top Local Tips for Benidorm

Benidorm Palace Dont go with a hangover or if you think this will be finished in about an hour. very showgirly variety based, lost the will to live after 2 hours and it was only half time!! The tea dance in intermission was the last straw and we departed. However would suit golden oldies and the dinner was fab!

Have your wits about you. This resort appeared to me to be all about stag/hen parties or tourists who wanted to sit in bars all day. Not my cup of tea at all, but it was a stag weekend after all. Be warned that there do appear to be thieves working in the area as my friend was pick-pocketed and also had a neckchain stolen. At one point, another friend was approached and offered the services of a prostitute(Politely declined of course). There is an abundance of tacky bars and restaurants, but not many quality places to eat.Be aware of your surroundings especially if your having a few drinks of an evening.

Restaurant recommendations Los Gaviotas (not a tourist haunt but excellent fish) also Two Palms, Paniels and The White Dove
