The staff were very helpful and attentive, the food was plentiful and good range to suite all tastes, the rooms were cleaned each day and a pleasure to go back to after trips out..we even had free buses to get us about so we werent stranded..would not hesitate to go back anytime in the future..wonderful time we had there..

Had a lovely week here, good food, entertainment, lovely hotel. It's up a hill but a reliable bus service stops outside. The hotel will give you bus tickets on request.Staff very friendly, good rooms, had to share indoor swim pool with swimming school!!but it was Feb. and maybe it's different in the summer. Not ideal for children but ok.Will definatley be returning.

we just back from a week's holiday staying at palm beach hotel, we had a very nice stay at this hotel, as we had read a few story's before hand so were slightly worried but we found it to be very pleasant, clean and friendly. the food was great with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful.
the entertainment was spanish and we found most of the guests to be spanish or french, but just goes to show this must be a good sign as they seem to keep coming back to stay at this hotel time and time again.
the indoor pool was lovely and very warm not busy so could swim away
the outdoor pool we thought seemed rather small for a hotel of this size but with the beach only just down the road this is not a problem
there was plenty of building work going on behind our hotel and yes at times could here it but was never a problem at all.
the room was very nice and maid's were always around to clean or put fresh towels if needed so very good, only fault we could find was that for some people staying here they would have problems walking up such steep hill's as its very steep.
but the hotel does offer a free bus service so one can go to town and again back up to the hotel.
all in all we would recommend this hotel, although be aware of them hill's they really are steep!!

We're just back from a week in the Palm Beach Hotel and we loved it. The staff were friendly, the food was fine, the entertainment was pretty much as expected from any hotel in Benidorm (magic acts, jugglers, etc). OK, lots of Spanish and French guests but unlike some we have no problem with that. At least the Spanish get up and dance when the music's playing! Building noise? Well, OK there was some, but it didn't give us any problem. Oh, and any guests who got too noisy at night were quickly put in their place by the hotel staff, which was a real plus as far as we were concerned.
Depends on how much you pay!

Hotel Great, very clean especially dining area. Yes the food was more cool than hot for the English selection.Staff were great, apart from one in the restaurant she came across arrogant but to all guests not just to the British. The building work was going on behind the Hotel but was not that noticable. The Hotel is on a Hill or two and is a fair walk to the beach but there is a free bus to and from town up till 8pm. Entertainment is average but there are plenty of other things to do in Benidorm. Overall a very nice stay. Sharon and Duncan, Leigh Lancashire.
not what I expected

on arrival the hotel looked smaller than I imagined. there was a wedding party in the function room so everyone was banished to the disco for the evening. although the hotel has been refurbished it looked tired. Safety deposit boxes were in a special room that required a master key from reception to access, try getting this when they're busy. the dining room was pleasant and the choice of food limited, the food was always cold !. the hotel caters for mainly spanish and french guests, so, if you want a break from the shaven headed tattoo sporting vest wearing brits abroad this is for you. the hotel is at the top of 'cardiac hill' ok going down to town but dreadful when returning. the staff are very pleasant and speak little english which I liked as it gave me the opportunity to try out my Spanish.the nightly entertainment is geared to the locals so we headed off into the town each night. All in all the stay was comfortable but I would not return simply due to the location. there is a large ground clearance project at the rear of the hotel at the moment, the noise is loud but as you will probably be out most days and most evenings it shouldn't really be a problem.. overall I would say, even with the inherent niggles, that it was value for money.
Overall, a good break

Just back from Palm Beach. Read all the reviews before I went and was slightly panicking about going. Didn't need to worry as the food was very good and catered for British, Spanish and German but if you want A La Carte then it's not for you. (I managed to put on 4 lbs and I'm a fussy eater!) No problems with language barriers at all. Entertainment was Spanish (we were in Spain of course!) and it was very good. The bus is on every half hour and we used it to go up and down to the beach and nightlife. The building work was a bit annoying but at night time you shut your patio door and put the air conditioning on. Great night's sleep all round. The only thing I would say was I got fed up with people moaning about nothing. If you want five star then book it!
great hotel but not for the british

Not For The British

Spent one week in this hotel (Aug 28th - Sep 04th).
Room clean, restaurant clean, food fantastic, pool nice and clean. Building nearby was definitely not a problem as it was down a hill behind the hotel.
We were one of the very few British families in the hotel and the biggest downfall was that the hotel only caters for the spanish guests. The TV channels in the rooms are all in spanish apart from Sky News, the poolside music was in spanish all day, 6 nights of evening entertainment all in spanish, only found one receptionist who could understand more than a 'Hello' in English. All in all, a good clean hotel, but not for the British or English speaking guests.

Fairly Good

I have just retuned rom the Palm Beach Hotel and it was very good. There were only a few British there and the entertainment was for the Spanish guests and not the British.
The music went on until 2am so if you wnat a quiet holiday it is not for you.
The food is excellent but the lifts are a pain at luch times as there are only 3 and there are 300 bedrooms with evryone wanting a lift at meal times!
I would recommend it but once was enough!

Bus to / from Palm Beach Hotel If you're staying at the Palm Beach Hotel, the hotel provides free bus tickets for you to use on the bust down/up to the town when is great when you can't be bothered walking up the hill!
market on wednesday Go to market on wednesday early, its quite good, though the prices dont differ from the shops
Aqualandia Great day out for all the family. Dont think if you have young children there will be nothing for them. there are two purpose built areas for toddlers and our 2 year old loved it. Take your own picnic has food is dear. 24 euro for 1 day or 34 for 2 days. money well spent.
