Very rude and unhelpful reception staff

Hotel was clean, food was average. Waiting and bar staff pleasant but let down by the rude and unhelpful receptionists. The entertainment that was on was geared for Spanish holidaymakers and limited. The show which was presented by the "entertainers" on the Friday night was suggestive and offensive to any handicapped person.

for the last 15 years we have stayed at this hotel (twice a year) we have allways found it very clean and tidy, the food is allways very good
and there is a good choice of food,we have found all the staff very helpfull and we will return in 2009

We went with another three couples ( family & friends )and we were disappointed.
The food was repetitive on a daily basis, catering mainly to the Spanish clientele. OK if you only eat salads.
My wife could not use the pool as entry and exit was via ladders, and there are a number of steps leading down to the pool area, no ramps etc.
Evening entertainment again catering mainly to the Spanish. Staff, bar, reception, rooms, and maid service could all be described as good.

My partner and I stayed for 7 nights on an all-inclusive basis, which was GREAT value for money. The accomodation was very clean, food was always fresh and tasty with a great variety to chose from, staff were all very friendly. Hotel is situated a little way from the main area of Benidorm, but an easy walk. Construction currently going on opposite the hotel but this didn't cause us any problems. A great, value for money hotel.

Didn't rate this hotel for an all-inclusive one. No snacks at night and only hard sandwiches in afternoon, Staff very miserable. Food only just warm and not much choice at all

Fantastic hotel, extremely clean and well maintained. Staff at times a little bit abrupt, but on the whole pleasant. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the All Inclusive food basis, it was very much like a Full board hotel. Breakfast, lunch and Dinner was provided, although it was a lot of the same food. The food for all inclusive during the day was either little Hot Dogs or hard sandwiches from the fridge. The entertainment that was provided whilst in the hotel was very poor, day times it was bowls and shooting every day, and the evening was the same pianist each night of the week. Overall a lovely hotel, although I wouldn't return to that particular one in the future.

Top Local Tips for Benidorm

Cheap and quick to the town centre If you stay at this hotel you can catch a bus from the main road across from the hotel. It is on the side of the beach and it is the Number 5 stand. It only costs 1 Euro to get to the main town and takes about 5-10 minutes.

Benidorm Palace Had a great night out here the show itself was superb with over 20 dancers . Dont be put off if you smoke as some webpages say it is no smoking but there is a room there. Good idea to dress up or youll feel out of place with jeans. The meal was ok if you like your steak rare but i prefer it well done should have asked.
