The Benikaktus is a clean hotel with some friendly staff. The lady in the dining room didn't crack a smile or speak to us for the week. The food was nice, but was short on choices toward the end of the week. However I did enjoy the meals. We didn't stay in the main hotel. We stayed in the apartment block behind the Benikaktus(spanish residential). The hotel has lots of potential and would of liked to have seen more activites organised for all nationalities. It was ok if you are over 65 and liked ball room dancing. Sometimes I felt that we were ignored and looked over by the Spanish staff, but I would say that is the norm anyway. The location was great and had lovely views from our room.

Top Local Tips for Benidorm

A2B Transfers great way of getting from Alicante to Benidorm. A fast professional service and affordable too. Rate is 15 euro per person each way. Perrfect for couples. Taxi is fixed at under 60 euro each way, so if there is 4 of you and you have small amount of luggage get taxi.

Eating out I must say, this is quite an expensive part of Spain, the food there was quite expensive, even McDonalds cost more! So i was so glad that I booked a HB deal otherwise it would have been a very expensive holiday! You can get some goods deals out there, I highly recommend HB, I thought I wouldn't eat at the hotel but the food was really good, so glad it was because food is really expensive!
