arrived new years eve at 9pm. checked in and went down to restaurant where we enjoyed a 7 course gala dinner with wine and champagne.there were 4 of us in party and had booked 4 days fb.we always found plenty of variety and although we had to wait for a table once or twice it wouldnt stop us from booking here again. rooms were clean and more than adequate,on the whole it was a very enjoyable break in a pleasant,centrally located and reasonably priced hotel.

First you should check the bed sheets to see if other peoples hairs are not on them. No drink with evening meal. Apart from that good.

We had a great stay at the Ambassador Playa II hotel as a stag party in June 2006. The rooms were great, the pool fastastic and the other facilities just as good. However upon arrival we were met with the most arrogant individual I have ever had the displeasure to meet which thankfully failed to put a dampener on a great holiday. Take him out of the equation and the hotel is a good one.

Me and my family stayed in the Hotel Ambassador, and i cannot complain about anything it is one of the best hotels i have stayed in, in benidorm. The food, entertainment, swimming pools- absolutely everything was top class. Even all the staff were friendly. Top class holiday

Good Quality Hotel

The hotel is located in a area of many bars and night-clubs,in low season this is not a problem but in high season the noise from the bars could be a problem. Otherwise this hotel would suit famileys with childred. It has two pools one is covered, the food is very good and varied. The hotel shaff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has a health Spa which you pay a small fee which we found excellent. My only complaint was the daytime activities which were poor they only had carpet bowls and darts every day, this may improve in the summer months.Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.We visited the hotel at Easter

I did enjoy my stay at the Ambassador Playa Hotel in Benidorm, although, we were moved out of our room due to FLEAS infesting in our beds, and a two bedded room which was meant to hold three people. After finally being moved, we realised that it was time to end our stay at your hotel. Kindest regards.

10 of us stayed in the Hotel Ambassador from 24th dec 2004 for 6 nights
The Hotel was very nice, Food excellent, the location was spot on.
The only down point was that family rooms of 4 people have no balcony
this didnt matter to us much as it was winter but in the summer you would want one. Ther was a lot of old people in the Hotel at this time of year,enjyed the western saloon pub which was joined on to the hotel.we would reccomend this hotel to anyone wishing to holiday in benidorm. They did put a good christmas on punch & food by the pool Christmas Day with Santa Claus.

The rooms were cold and very small. The food was terrible - unless you like hake fish and then you'd be happy as it was on at every meal. Entertainment the best thing but could have stayed in a better hotel and visited for the entertainment as it was open to all.
Definately wouldn't go back to this one.

This year (Nov 2004) stayed at the Ambassador Playa. Could not say anything against the hotel. Cleanliness first class. Food O.K. Only grouse , balconies not private. Lifts erratic. If I had stayed at this hotel 2 years ago would have thought it great but the previous 2 years was at the Levante Club Hotel which was marvellous and it has wasted me for anything less.

Benidorm may be classed as " Blackpool with Sun " but I think whatever your idea of a holiday is you could find it in Benidorm.

First class restaurants, Greasy Spoon Cafes,Tapas Bars, Entertainment from Jazz, Country & Western, Tribute Bands, Authentic Spanish, Discos, Tea Dances, Bingo (my pet hate ) and probably more I have not discovered,
and most of all sunshine!!!!

I enjoy the New Town for entertainment and the Old for shopping

just returned from brilliant holiday at ambassador playa in benidorm.the best hotel i have stayed at and i`ve been to quite a few.staff were excellent
from cleaners to management,food no one could complain about,entertainment was a lot better than most places.i have rebooked for november ,january and march and will not stay anywhere else from now on.also have found the transport of resorthoppa excellent value.

spotless rooms great food helpfull staff await you at the ambassador .just spent aweek their with the wife and had agreat holiday,the western saloon next door is a good night out ,just one niggle with the hotel the ( I.S.S. ) insomniac sunbed squad where out in force putting their towels on at 4 am so if you want a sun bed set your alarm for 3 30 am put your towel on your lounger then go and catch the sticky vicky show sausages will never taste the same again ...

We stayed at the Hotel Ambassador Playa, half board, for 2 weeks in August 2004, after booking the holiday at the last minute.
We were very impressed with the quality of the room (and hotel in general), cleanliness, food, and helpfulness of the staff.
There's two pools - one of which is covered, and plenty of sunbeds. There's even a gym, sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi, solarium and massages / facials are also available.
We spent a couple of days at the beach, this was also very good, the water was very clear (we could even see little fish swimming around!) and the beach was clean. There's no shortage of places to eat or drink, the prices are reasonable.
We really enjoyed the food at this hotel, and ended up putting on half a stone each! There's lots of variety, and something for everyone.

My husband and I had a great time at the ambassador playa this April, and will certainly be going back, we are sequence dancers so the entertainment was marvellous,with a mixed variaty for all dancers as well,also in the other lounge was a varied amount of entertainment with Big John on the key board, plus shows. there was plenty of choice of food served, either hot or cold menus.roll on next April.
