The hotel was nice and clean, room cleaned every day, but the food was always cold and limited choice. Plenty of construction noise from road works,entertainment was a lot to be desired, plenty of cats around the small pool area. Not a 4 star hotel, more 3 star.

Have stayed in the Corona for many years and it is by far the best hotel in Benidorm. Great rooms, good food and nice atmosphere.

Top Local Tips for Benidorm

Sunbeds & Brollies Even in November s/beds & brollies are chargable at 4 euros per item so for my wife & I the cost would be 12 euros a day, which at the end of a fortnight is a tidy sum! Go to one of the beach gear shops & haggle for a chair & beach mat (aprox 20 euros), then at the end of your holiday sell it on for whatever price you can get for it - much cheaper.

public transport use the local buses it is only 1euro throughout local area and they run from early morning to late at night with bus stops close to the hotel and a visit to the tappas bars in the old town is a must

Getting the bus As soon as you arrive ..Check on were you catch the bus.If you wish to go out of the Benidorm area you need to go to the "New" bus station..Its a 20min busride from the local bus stop 3mins walk from Hotel...Also check timetables...Not always as they seem..
