Charming hotel in a perfect location

The location of where you stay in Cordoba is very important and the Hotel Nh Amistand is perfectly located, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions in the area. It's an attractive hotel, hidden from the major pedestrian areas, on a narrow coblestone street. We stayed two nights and ate dinner at the hotel one of the nights. The food was just average. I would definately recommend this charming hotel to family and friends. (we were there off season so it was quiet but during high season you might not want a room with a window facing the courtyard as it could get noisy.

Don't forget about the new town It's well worth having a stroll through the newer part of the city. The historic part can feel a touristy and toytown-ish at times. You'll find El Corte Ingles and other nice shops and bars beyond the historic centre. Also, have a walk by the river around sunset, very pretty.

Towns in S Spain in November Be prepared for warm afternoons and cool mornings and evenings.

Mezquita A must-see architectural marvel. Take time to sit on one of the benches to take in the geometrical magic of the old mosque.
