The hotel is very spacious and well appointed with a fantastic swimming pool which is always kept clean, and has a single Lifeguard (although not particularly effective and appeared dissinterested and not surprisingly bored most of the time). Unfortunately the use of inflatables is not permitted in the pool which was a dissapointment. However, always sunbeds available around the pool area even at this busiest time of year (August). Towels are available at the poolside with a 10 Euro refunable deposit. There is also a snack bar which serves meals and drinks daily and is not too expensive but can get crowded between 2-3pm.
There is entertainment for the children and my son enjoyed the water polo and tennis on the beach.
We thought that the evening entertainment was just passable but not very exciting nor inspiring.
The rooms are large and always kept spotlessly clean with air conditioning -although in the room we had it or something which caused a loud vibration at varying times woke us up and was very noisy. Eventually after much complaining we were moved to a much better room.
The food is excellent. Buffet style meals catering mainly for International tastes (lots of yummie fresh fish, prawns etc) -don't expect traditional British food here although chips are always readilly available.
Not many British tourists, mostly Spanish and German visitors. Being able to speak Spanish is not essential but was an advantage to us on the odd occasion.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Parking is a problem at this time of year around the hotel as spaces are limited and shared with other hotels in the complex but we always managed to get a spot after much searching.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who is an independent traveller and who likes good food and enjoys 4 star luxury. We would certainly return again.
