| Nice hotel, shame about the food |
| This was our first proper family holiday abroad and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was lovely, entertainment was brilliant, staff were friendly, facilities were good, food was awful. That was the only drawback (apart from the beach which is shingle and hurts the feet but is still lovely). Spent a fortune eating out when we didn't fancy the various clumps of meat in various sauces (I even took to saying a hail mary before taking a bite). Don't let me put you off, you make your own holiday and we really had a great time and met some lovely people (not loads as most of the guests were either German or Dutch or students from the same countries). Wouldn't go back again as like a sandy beach and better food, but great hotel, brilliant entertainment (kids loved the mini disco - have even downloaded some of the foreign dance songs), lovely all inclusive drink and nice pools (3 including the tots one)(queue before 8.45 and be prepared to run for a sunbed when the doors open at 9.00am). Mustn't grumble as some great memories and lovely pictures (including Marineland which is a must - don't miss the dolphin show) |
