We stayed in the Mar Blu Hotel in October 07. I found it to be a very clean hotel and the staff was found to be very friendly. The food was very good and was served in a buffet style. Like all European hotels, the buffet catered for continental European tastes. So if you are very choosy about what you eat, it may not be your liking. The bedrooms where very clean and they were cleaned on a daily basis. The only fault I found was there are two discos located near the hotel and noise levels rose at closing time, also there was occasions where people drinking by the pool where loud after the 12 midnight “no noise curfew” this wasn’t controlled by the bar staff or night porter while we were there. Summery is that the Mar Blu is a lovely, clean hotel with good staff, food is good, but only fault was the noise at night.

The hotel in its self was very clean and the people lovely. The food was buffet style but there was not much of a selection and for dinner it was always chips no other choice of potato. We were there for four nights and the variety did not change much at all. The alcohol was a good price to say it was a hotel. The pool outside was v. cold (we went in Oct). There was no indoor pool but there was a Jacuzzi and a steam room if you wanted to pay 4 euros it advertised a gym but they only had a bike and weights and something that didn’t work. Also the main thing that bothered me was that the air-conditioning was not functioning properly in the rooms we had it set on the lowest setting at 5c so it should have been very cool but it wasn’t. I did ask at reception about it but I got allot of blank faces and a few nods and smiles and that was about it really. Overall it wasn’t that bad but we will try somewhere else next year if only for the food
