Good budget choice
I had a great holiday at the Bon Repos. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The pool was a good size and got the sun most of the day. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good position for the beach and for the shops. The station is 500m away and it is well worth going by train to Barcelona (tickets cost jsut over 6 euros)
The food at the hotel is not the best but it is plentiful and edible ( though I agree it would not be easy for a vegetarian) There was always past and salad stuff. I liked the variety - whitebait, pan-fried fish, pork, chicken legs - though some things were a bit questionable. They tasted good though. Breakfasts were fine but they could have included fruit and yogurts. I enjoyed my stay and would point out that you get what you pay for. My holiday cost £250 per person with Ferris.

Food Revolting
Food was so bad we spent almost 900 pounds in 2 weeks eating out as a family of 4! Food choice was veal, pork, fish, chicken and chips every evening meal for 14 days and food quality was really bad chicken burgers were black inside! Breakfast was edible provided you like to live off beans on toast for 14 days in a row lol vegetarians that don’t eat fish or meat are really stuck as all the rice and pasta dishes had meat in them. Rep told me to feed my veggie daughter pizza and salad, which would have been fine apart from the only pizza available was ham!

A well run hotel!
We have tried a number of hotels in Calella and this one is by far the best value for money. The food is good and the staff is friendly and well trained. Hygiene is outstanding!
