Our first independant travel to spain. information on getting to hotel ie; 1km to bus st 2km train st was way out but with help from non english speaking locals we got there with little effort. Hotel nice but rooms very small bathrooms tiny. Food very basic not catering to british taste.Staff pleasant, manager very approachable & pleasant ,unusual in spanish hotels. Cleaners very pleasant,dining room staff not very pleasant,reception staff not pleasant with the exception of Rosa who is the most helpful young lady we have ever met, nothing was too much trouble for her we would give her 5*. Bar staff leaves much to be desired tho. All in all we would visit again if food/dining room were improved upon. Local residents typical spanish lovely helpful people. We felt comfortable and never seen or heard of any crimes/rip offs that we have experienced in other costas. All in all a lovely place to visit. Not your usual tourist trap.

bus train we went to barsilona for the day we walked to the lockal bus station and got a bus and train ticket which cost us less and it was a return it cost about £7 each .the bus stops right out side the train station.when you get to barsilona get of the stop befor the main station in the main square there are tour buses which is about £18 each .it takes you all around the sights and you can get on and of as much as you like .well worth the money.
