Top Local Tips for Bilbao

best place for little kids! Bilbao's chief attraction is the Guggenheim - for kids as well as adults. That's because next to the museum is the most fantastic outdoor play area, including very pleasant, chilled shady cafe for parents to sit in and watch their offspring. Try not to go when it's it's very hot though, as there is no shade at all in the play area - apart from that it's perfect and your kids will thank you (except when you try and drag them away to go to the museum!). Also th play area is free, unlike the museum which is rather pricey.
