Great Position.Old Town.Benidorm
Canfali a good value for money hotel. If you stay there don't use Resort-Hoppa transfers as they drop you 1/2 a mile away use a taxi. The sea view rooms have a great view. The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent. The food is awful. Gloria the receptionist is very helpful. Dont try and email them as they never answer I dont think they know how to use it.

Bad hotel
On arrival 1.1.08 we were group of 10 booked 3 rooms in september 07. We were told 2 rooms available and 1 would have to go to hotel princesa. We argued for 2 hours with staff on reception we came as a group and staying as a group the other room would be available next day so they sent us all to the princesa. Next day 1 room was ready other 2 would be ready that night. Sounds like they had rented other 2 rooms out night before. we spent half a day on 2.1.08 saying we were not willing to wait till that night bearing in mind we had 3 children in the party canfali wanted us to pay for rooms that we did not have eventually they paid princesa for rooms on 1.1.08 and we paid 13 euros extra to stay in princesea which was lovely. For rest of our 2 days left advise is to stay away from canfali they gave two different excuses why rooms were not ready.

Awful hotel, nice view
Stayed here. The hotel food was terrible. Stayed half board, charged for water with evening meal, that’s if you could eat the evening meal! The staff gave us the cold shoulder all week because we complained about the room which looked out onto a brick wall. If you want a bad start to your holiday book this place, otherwise stay well clear.

On arrival in Benidorm we were dropped off at the Plaza hotel and made our way on foot to the Canfali which was a 15min walk. On arrival we were offered the Hotel Princesa as an alternative as there was decorating of rooms going on at the hotel, this was not mentioned on their website. We reluctantly agreed to go to the Hotel Princesa and were subsequently given a room on the 15th. floor which was completely the opposite of what we were looking for in our holiday. If the Hotel Canfali had said on their website that work was taking place then we would have sought other accommodation. We cannot complain about the Hotel Princesa as the food was excellent and the rooms were very clean. We were just VERY dissapointed that we could not stay at the desired hotel of our choice and we had to stay in one of Benidorm's tower block hotels.

Wonderful Location
On arrival the reception was very helpfull and friendly. The room was large with a balcony and the most outstanding view of Benidorm. The food was good and loads of it.
The location was one of the best in Benidorm. The price was very reasonable for August. Great hotel, keep up the good work
