Just back from a week in Benidorm staying at the Bristol Park and felt duty bound to write a review.I had read about the freindly staff being the hotels best feature but I must say for a 3* hotel I found that you are treated better than you may be at 4*hotels.Yes their are lots of Spanish guests and that the menu did have a lot of national dishes but you are in Spain!!!
The restuarant staff spoke English and were courteous and always smiled. The menu changed nightly and if you had children then you could ask for a pizza or burger. The bar staff were always freindly and went out thier way and would offer you olives or nuts with your drink.I was bought a drink by one of the bar men on my last night...Do you get that at the pubs catering for the BRITS I THINK NOT.My room was comfortable and although you are situated at a roundabout the traffic noise wasnt bad.
In all the location ,food and staff made for a fantastic holiday that was hassle free.Definately going back.

This Hotels Customers are in the main aging Spanish and British couples who appear to use their (in some cases extended) stay here to practise their Grumpy skills, many, both Spanish and British seem totally incapable of giving the slightest indication of thanks when a door is held open or when you move aside to allow them to pass.
The restaurant which I suspect was built to service the 89 rooms can not cope with the addition of guests from the Bristol Apartments, making it one of their favourite battlegrounds where they can use all their Grumpy skills, pushing in, being rude to other guests and staff, etc
Although indicating an international menu the food available appeared to be aimed at the Spanish, further more I did not see any indication of Kids Food.
There appears to be no concept of proactive maintenance within this hotel, the hair dryer in our room was well past its useful life, but the repair consisted of a Band Aid solution which lasted all of one further use, the next guests in the room we used will be kept cool by the A/C because after the hotels maintenance man had tried switching it on and off a couple of times and explaining that it was now OK and left, I cleaned the filters.
Because of the close proximity to high rises the sun comes off the pool by mid afternoon.
There was entertainment during our stay, however once again it appeared to be aimed at the Spanish guests, but we were in Spain..
For all of the above I would not recommend taking children to this hotel

stayed at the Bristol park for the two week period over xmas and new year the staff were nice but accommodation defiantly needs updating the food rating I would say needs improving except for the new year gala dinner that I thought was excellent the entertainment was mainly Spanish and talk about it's not over until the fat lady sings o'h dear every single night a little Spanish lady singing without a microphone just imagine it if you dare apart from about three nights when you got a reprieve yes an all Spanish hotel but no mention of this in our brochure also built on a very busy main road this also not mentioned in the brochure we was lucky to have the pleasure of a room at the back of the hotel lovely view in the morning of the flats directly opposite us lots of knickers and long johns bath towels and sheets no sun but apart from that it was wonderful.

Just returned yesterday. The hotel is on a very busy road, quite noisy - but we got used to it. The hotel could do with some refurbishment, windows rattle with traffic, air conditioning is very loud and rattly, but the staff were very nice, food was good most days and the pool area is lovely (pool a bit deep for kids though). Despite the noise we had a lovely time and I would probably go again in the future.
