We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. The room was fine, but the staff were not particularly friendly. The hotel is so large that it is a long way to walk to anywhere. It is not my idea of a 5 star hotel and we are back in Spain this weekend and certainly will nt be booking into this hotel again.

Top Local Tips for Benalmadena Costa

Better Value to be had SunsetBeachClub is a stones throw away. Much cheaper. Much better looked after property although predominately self catering

market there is a market in arroyo de la miel on fridays where you can find anything and everything at very reasonable prices

Not impressed Benalmadena is nice place for young people with limited budget. If you are after beautiful beach, luxery holiday with nice hotels then this is not the place. You will be better of staying in Marbella , an hour drive from this place. The Marina is absolutely beautiful and very lively. You can not find a fancy restaurant as such in this area but it is fun for young people who enjoyl, cheep food, and nice bars. Another big advantage is the this location is very close to the airport (15 minutes drive)l.
