Castles Everywere! We rented a car for one day. Driving on the left is not as much of a problem as you worry it might be. Sitting on the opposite side of the car keeps you paying attention. From Holyhead it is only about 45 minutes to at least 3 castles. You can walk on the walls and climb the towers and if your kids arent careful they may just get interested in history. Park at the first lot you find and walk the rest so you dont have to negotiate the narrow streets in towns any more than necessary. Its not far and the atmosphere is great for walking anyway. Don't just go to the ferry port and move on. Time in Wales is worth it.
