everything was first class enjoyed holiday very much will go again oh by the way did anybody find grandaughters toy monkey as it was special in room 209 we would be very grateful.maybe the hotel could e.mail me.the food bars and everything else was great thanks

I went to Benalmadena Palace last year in July with my family and this year was even better. We knew where everything was and the staff remembered us from the previous year and the food was as good as it was last year. I would recommend the Benalmadena Palace to anyone because it is great for families and is out of the way of the noise in the resort. The beautiful marina is only 5-10 minutes away by taxi and is only 8 euros. My little sister enjoyed the kids club and she helped out with some of the activities. I recommend that if you have a family with children this is the perfect place for a family holiday.

Absolutely fantastic holiday, the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great value entertainment all through the holiday. We were apprehensive as this was our first holiday abroad for 12 years normally stayed in UK (Haven holidays) whilst the children were growing up. We thought they might get bored, but no. Thank you to the staff and all at the Benalmadena Palace, we have had our perception of holidays abroad changed.

I went to Benalmadena Palace last year in July with my mum, step-dad and sister for a week. It was amazing!!!! There was loads to do for kids. The food was nice, staff very friendly. I'm going back in august 08. Can't wait!

I went to Benalmadena Palace on the 5th Jan 08 & oh my god it was fantastic. Everything you could wish for.. sun, spa, jaccuzi, indooor pool, gym etc.

The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. If you had problems they soon sorted it out.

The kids club is great facilties like the indoor park, cinema clubs etc.. great for them especially to get them out of the sun.

Everyone mentions the hill it's not all that bad once you get used to it and there is a shortcut through the car park which leaves most of it out. Don't let the hill put you off.

It's definitely a 4 star hotel in my opinion for the money we payed as well.


It's about 45 mins to the marina if you walk. Taxi 8 euros.

5 friends and myself stayed in this hotel 1 wk ago for a week. It is definitely a 5 star as stated. People were loverly and polite, rooms cleaned, towels were not changed as often as we would of liked but when we asked they were at the door with clean as soon as we closed the door. It is very well kept and we would all go back next year as we are planning to do so. The hill is not that bad at all especially if you use the short cut you'll be fine. I would recommend to anyone.

Top Local Tips for Benalmadena Costa

Getting about spain from the costas As in the review brilliant base for getting out & about most drivers on buses & at station speak english no need for those expensive tours.Only problem is if going far need a very early start in the morning

Benalmadena Nightlife If you want nightlife you are better staying closer to the Marina. The pubs nearest to the Hotel don't tend to have entertainment.

Nice places to visit Visit the marina in Benalmadena and Mijas which is a bus ride away. Take a horse and trap ride round Mijas - very pretty
