Fantastic holiday

We stayed at the Bali half board for 2 weeks in June this year and had a fantastic holiday. The rooms are basic but extremely clean. The food was excellent. Staff are very friendly and the Animacion entertainment team were brilliant with the children. We are returning on 8th October 2006 for 1 week and have booked for 2 weeks in June 2007.

I thought the room in the hotel was a little basic although very clean, the orange decor didnt help it maked the rooms look a little tatty. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice each night, even my fussy 7 year old was spoilt for choice.The entertainmentwas the usual stuff you get in spain although unless you were sat right at the front you'd miss it as the room was filled with poles that restricted your view. Kids entertainers were good, bar and resturant staff friendly a. Overall a good hotel that i would recommend for familys with children.

Top Local Tips for Benalmadena Costa

The train from the airport If there are only 1-2 people travelling together,save some money and instead of using a taxi from the airport,get the train from the airport.To do this leave the airport by the entrance in the arrival hall where the clock is.It is opposite the 2nd carousel down.Cross the road to car park and get in lift to 2nd floor,then turn right and walk to far end of carpark where you will see abridge over the road, follow the bridge and this takes you to the train station, the fare is only 1 euro 35 cents each to Benalmadena and then take a taxi to your hotel which will cost 6 euro,thats quite a saving on a return journey and the train only takes 20 mins.It leaves the airport heading towards benalmadena at 15 and 45 mins past the hour.If you are staying at Torremolinos there is a stop there and 2 stops between there and benalmadena.The announcements are in english too so theres no problems......if i can do it,anyone can.

disappointed Benalmadena has a nice marina, but that's about it only good attraction.

The Marina A visit to the Marina is a must and take in a boat trip while you are there!!!!
