Excellent hotel in every respect
We are experienced travellers and found this to be a very good 5 star hotel. The accommodation and facilities were splendid and the staff were very keen to please and did please. The prices were commensurate with similar 5 star hotels. We look forward to returning before too long.

Extortionate bar prices
We booked this hotel because it was close to the Nou Camp and we were going to watch a game, and it was 5*. We were told that we have been upgraded when we arrived as they didn't have any non-smoking rooms left. If that was the upgraded room, I dread to think what the standard room was like. Very small, old fashioned, dreary. The bar prices are also extremely expensive. A small bottle of fanta orange was 5.5 euro's!!! I wouldn't recommend as a 5* - more like a 3/4. Great location for football.

Be Aware!!!
Be aware that this hotel is a good 45mins/1hr brisk walk from the centre of Barcelona. While it's a pleasant enough hotel I find it incredible that it displays 5 stars. I booked the hotel solely on the star rating and, in that respect, was very dissapointed as it is certainly not what I expect from 5 stars. However, it's clean and tidy and the concierge is excellent.
