Great palce to stay, we would go there again

We recently stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. We were really pleased with the hotel we had a room on the front with a balcony overlooking the street, we asked for a room like that, the bathroom was big and modern with a good shower and nice toiletries. It was a nice touch having a free mini bar a
with a good selection of drinks, that was stocked each day. The train station that goes to the airport is right outside the door but we did get off the wrong stop on our way there so jumped in a cab. After about 3 days we were woken up by banging. They were working on the place next door so they did change our room to another on the front, but not an open balcony which wasn't so nice, but was still a nice room and bathroom. If you book this hotel on line, direct to the hotel you get breakfast included. We didn't, we booked with a company so we had breakfast with loads of choices to eat. One great place is the top floor of the very large department store on the main square court, englais the veiws of the city were amazing. We also went on the open top bus wich was great. We will definitely go back and would definitely stay at the same hotel.

The hotel was very stylish, the rooms were cool and well-equipped, the service was fine and friendly. The only downside was the limited menu in the restaurant. Given the hotel's location in central Barcelona, there are a hundred restaurants within walking distance anyway ;)

Top Local Tips for Barcelona

Architecture This is a fantastic city for viewing architecture. It may not be at the top of your Barcelona list, but see this Gaudi masterpiece. Even without the furniture, it's a wondrous place. Bring your camera. Also, go to MNAC and view the world from the top of the hill. Beautiful views. Walk down the hill and visit the Barcelona pavilion for a mid-century treat. Then pop across the street to the Contemporary Art and Culture Centre for a wonderfully unique art experience.

2 amazing restaurants Con Gracia Restaurante and El Nou Ramonet were delicious and with wonderful service.

The airport bus Buy a return ticket when you board the bus at the airport to the city centre. It is really good value and a very quick journey from the airport into town centre
