My wife and I stayed in the Parador while we vacationed in Barcelona. Request the suite it's a better value. The service is wonderful. They do have English menus. The view from the castle overlooking Cardona is magnificent. Not allot of excitement, just a wonderful place to escape crowds, relax, shop in the village, etc. The food at the Parador is very good although a bit pricey. Go for breakfast/supper at the Parador but you must try Hostal Bofil in Cardona for lunch. The parking at the castle is horrible so pack light. The main reason to stay here are the views, the service and how many chances do you get in life to sleep in castle with all the amenities.
