lovely weekend break

myself and my boyfriend booked a weekend break to barcelona and chose this hotel for its location. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised. Its a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Barcelona and benefits from being in a quiet area away from the sound of traffic. If you go left out of the entrance you are only 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. The hotel itself was very comfortable with a fantastic breakfast that kept us going until early evening. A bonus for us was that the staff are happy to keep your bags once you have checked out until you are ready to collect them, totally free of charge, which enabled us to have another hassle free day sightseeing as our return flight wasn't until 7.00 pm. Would definately go back.

Good hotel not too far from center

NH Podium is a relatively new hotel with nice but small rooms, good bathrooms, excellent breakfast buffet and very nice roof terrace with swimming pool. It is about 10-15 min walking distance from the tourist and shopping sites. The street where it is situated is relatively quiet and the windows are soundproof. Looking at the value for money ratio, it is definitely a top buy in Barcelona.

Clean, beautiful and very good service

We were recommended this hotel from my sister, when I decided to take my husband, our two daughters (22 and 31) to celebrate my 60 years day in Barcelona. Staying there it was not so bad becoming 60! We really loved the hotel, our rooms were very nice and clean, the breakfast - mmmh - the top floor where we enjoyed the sun in the middle of December (10 minus in Oslo were we come from). We will certainly come back to Barcelona and stay at the same hotel. And we have also recommended it to friends. Thanks for a nice stay! Aud Midtsund.
