| No swimming pool! But super quiet location. |

Many websites state this hotel has a swimming pool -- the main reason we chose this location. But, no pool! Big bummer. Breadfast buffet was sufficient. The location wasn't the greatest, but the price was right. However, public transportation to the airport is difficult. (You have to walk 10 minutes to the metro, take the metro back toward Barcelona, then catch a bus to airport.) So, we caught a taxi, which cost 20 euro one-way. AND, in Barcelona, a taxi can only carry 4 people. So, we had to pay for 2 taxis, even though our group of 5 included an infant (only 7 months old). That said, the metro system is pretty good and you can easily get to the city center. Also, you'll get a good, quiet sleep. Absolutely no traffic/street noise. |
