Just returned from Mojacar from a lovely holiday. This was our 2nd time to visit the Hotel Indalo and I would recommend it if you want a quiet holiday away from the "Costas" and lager louts. It is a typical Spanish resort where the spanish holiday so as a result not many English or Irish families holiday there. The hotel is a little tired could do with a paint job but is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed daily also. Food is fair to good depending on the day. Sunday is not good. They have a fish day (yum) a cheese day (yum) a meat day ie salami and sausage (yumish) also do theme nights Mexican is good. Breakfast is ok but they have a chef who will cook your own sausages and rashers if you want. We went fully inclusive so drinks were included but icecreams only until 6 which was a bit strange. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and if the pool is not your scene there is a jacuzzi and a huge garden area with plenty of sunbeds there too. There is also a huge lounge with a pool table and card tables and comfy sofas to relax in, you can hire bikes if you are feeling energetic or play tennis on the grounds and there is a playground on site to keep the kids happy too. The staff are wonderful very helpful apart from one barman (one of the senior ones) who is a grumpy so and so and not liked by anyone, the other senior one is lovely. Entertainment is not wonderful really spanish based Spanish dancers parrot shows and a very strange duo of a man playing keyboard and a spanish girl singing english????songs. New Work New Work being one of the songs (New York New York) and some enshaned eeevnin (some enchanted evening) another one. Good for a laugh even though she is not supposed to be funny. Pasqual the childrens entertainer does a great job dont think he ever sleeps ha ha. One guy Sooper sings great blues and jazz and will do requests English and Irish very appreciative of him. The beach is directly across the road from the hotel and is a blue flag with lifeguards. Not many shops so if you are a shopaholic you would have to get the bus to mojacar (well worth a visit) or to the commercial centre a mile or two up the road (only 90c on the bus no matter how long you stay on). Hire a car and drive through Europes only Desert see the caves that are home to people even to this day. Take a trip to Tabernas and Mini Hollywood where The good the bad the ugly was filmed among others well worth going to the barbque as much food and drink as you can shake a stick at. So in summary the Hotel Indalo is ideal for a quiet chilled holiday either by the pool, jacuzzi or beach or for touring, If youre looking for an all singing dancing clubbing holiday..... stay away. Staff will do their best to see you enjoy your stay and Mojacar is a lovely place to stay. Enjoy

Fun Fun Fun go to port aventura rides amazing, neptune glass bottom boat, my 5 year thought it was great. Marine land had a great dolphin display, parrot show and sealion show, and you could meet the dolphins for 50 euro. Barcelona only 40 minutes away from santa suzanna 6.40 on train return. beach is great had a full body massage on it for 20 euro fab!
