| No value and service for money |
| Rooms: Small standard rooms,
-very noisy walls and door not very tight
- quite dirty not cleaned very well either,
- cleaning maids disturb while still sleeping > no possibility to signal that room is still occupied due to lack of door knop sign (which is unbeliveable even for a 3 star hotel)
- no key card they still have the 20 year old keys with big room number plate to carry around in you pocket very unhandy.
Service:
- waiter in restaurant and bars not friendly and slow (talking most of the time with their colleagues in stead of serving the customers)
- reception: not helpful at all even though we booked a double not a twin we got a twin with two beds. > we couldnt get a double bed even after asking 3 different receptionist at different times.
- you always have to carry money no possibility to charge the room pay as you drink in cash
food:
- food is not good at all, first no spanish dishes > all international dishes, coffee is lousy so are the juices. Basically every morning and evening the same food and slow waiters.
Its a huge Hotel with holds over 600 guests its like canteen food.
customers: A lot of families with children, good mix between spanish, english, dutch and german guests.
Beach access: beach can be reached by walking over a street and using an underpass since there are train tracks in front of the hotel. trains going every 30 minutes quite noisy. You have to go to blanes or tossa or further upcoast to have a beachaccess without train tracks.
in total the hotel and service is not worth the price I can only give it 4 out of 10 stars> better go for the sorabona or the pineda palace also at the waterfront.
