Loved our stay!

We stayed one night at the Arts on July 13. The hotel was sleek and beautiful, the english speaking staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Our rooms were HUGE with great views of Barcelona and the ocean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Luxury in Barcelona

The Hotel arts is an amazing hotel in Barcelona. While its location is a bit off the beaten path, its 100% worth it. The staff was increadible, the rooms beautful and the pool with harbor views was great. We stayed for a couple of days at the beginning of the trip which was perfect. If you like casino's, there is a great one across the way. I'll admit the hotel is pricey but well worth it!

Large hotel, but realy well done

Ok, so I know what you are thinking. How can a huge hotel, with 400+ rooms, have the intimacy, charm and service of a small luxury hotel? The answer: somehow they manage it. Staff are great - our video broke and someone was there to fix it in 2 minutes; we ordered room service and someone came to collect the empty plates.
They also have a great, intimate pool area with views of the sea, comfy sunloungers, and friendly staff, and it is small so it does not feel like 400 people are competing for a lounger... But the real reason to come here is for the views - incredible view over the city, beach and marina make this so special. We stayed on the 24th floor and the view was very 'Lost in Translation'.
I can only recommend this hotel. The rooms are large and fabulous, staff great, just by the beach and only 10 minutes from the centre. If you want small and romantic, don't stay here, but if you want luxury, great views, and comfort, it's the perfect place.

Im 17 years old i stayed at the arts hotel and it was a true expericne of fun . The rooms are beauitful and spacious i could sleep in the rooms the whole day and not go out its a heaVEN WITHIN. The stafff are truly friendly and helpful always ready to help anyone. Most of all the staff memebrs female are so pretty and sexy i fall in loive with them.

Luxury hotel for families!

I've just got back from spending Easter at the Hotel Arts! The hotel service is absolutely superb and its design ( exterior and interior) is breathtaking.I had an amazing huge room with 2 double beds and a view of the marina, beach and city ( and that was just a standard family room). Room was spotless and in superb condition and had a video/ CD player and the most gorgeous bathroom which was cleaned twice a day. I travelled with my 4 year old and the staff treated her so well- funpacks in the restaurant, special kids meals etc and were genuinely warm and friendly. The food was also amazing- loved the Arola restaurant and the tea-room and bar downstairs. I could easily have stayed at the hotel all day and not ventured into Barcelona!! Hotel even has an amazing outdoor pool and jacuzzi on the second floor where you could just chill out all day. Hotel is just a short walk from shops and restaurants on the marina and a 5 minute walk to the Zoo ( recommend hiring green electric car at the zoo- 13 euros for 1 hour for 2 adults and 2 kids- fantastic way to see the zoo!). Port Vell also 5 minutes by taxi ( about 8 euros) is nearby with a mini- fairground for children. There is a taxi stand just outside the hotel entrance and the metro is about a 5 minute walk away. The Barcelona tourist ' turisme' bus also leaves from just outside the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel especially to those with children. I viewed the other Hotels in Barcelona and none compared to the Arts in relation to location, style and overall class! Only disadvantage- no kids tv channel but can bring own VHS video tapes as room has video player.

I only stayed in Spain for three days but staying at the Arts hotel was wonderful. It is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel's land is so beautifully landscaped and just a few steps a way from the Medetteranian Sea. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is great.

I first visited the Hotel Arts when i was just nine years old in 1993, and have freequented the hotel since then on my annual holiday to Spain's most picturesque city. The hotel offers some of the most splendid views over the 1992 Olympic marina and the Northern Mediterranean. The hotel has far mor to offer than just the views; it gives it's visitors a warm friendly welcome as they are initially overwhelmed by the fantastic archetecture of the building. The lobby of the hotel is spectacular. The hotel runs with absolubt fluency and offers the most excuisit choise of breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, and provides the visitor with every thing they require and more. This is simply the most spectacular and luxurious hotel in Barcelona.

A very stylish hotel, with fantastic views of Barcelona and the beach.
It is about to have a re-furb which is good news because our bathroom was looking a little dated. Great Cigar Bar and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back!!

The Best Hotel Ever

I can honestly say that i have never stayed in such a lovely hotel with friendly staff who are always on hand and couldn't do more to help.
Anyone who has written a bad review of this hotel must have nothing better to do with their time than complain. I would recommend if you are traveling to Barcelona this is the place to stay.

Top of The Line

Just returned from a short trip to Europe, which included a two-night stay at the Hotel Arts. The limited amount of service we were exposed to was quite good and we waited little more than a few minutes to have the few requests we made fully satisfied. The rooms are fantastic and extremely large, even by US standards. We had booked a special rate that was substantially under rack and still had a large, extremely well appointed room with a view of the Marina. The marble bathrooms are huge with separate showers and a deep tub. The beds are extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. We enjoyed the Bang & Olufsen stereo while unwinding after a day of touring. Our short stay did not allow us time to use the spa and the pool was closed for winter but both looked wonderful.I was a bit apprehensive about the location, as the hotel is not located in the heart of the city. It turned out that the old city it is within a ten-minute walk, the metro is nearby and there are inexpensive taxis lined up out front of the hotel at most hours. There are plenty of decent restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel and the beach is right out front. All in all, it was an excellent stay and one I wouldn?t mind repeating in the near future. Next time I?ll stay a bit longer and enjoy some of what the hotel has to offer.

Top Local Tips for Barcelona

Hop on / Hop off Open Top Bus Buy a 3 day ticket for the open top hop on hop off bus if it is your first time in Barcelona. It has 3 different routes and will take you past all the main sights, beach etc.

Gaudi Take time to visit old Barcelona and spend time walking round - it is great!

Go visit sitges If you are spending a while in Barcelona you must hire a car and drive along the coast to Sitges. It's a beautiful beach with great restaurants and nightlife.
