Pleasant hotel, price/quality very good. Perfect,central location. Our room was on the courtyard, so no trouble from outside noises. Do not know how it is when you are situated on the streetside.

Nice room with lot of space. Nice poeple in Hotel. In the center of Barcelona but very loud, special at night.

Top Local Tips for Barcelona

Barcelona Card Consider buying a good guidebook and a 'Barcelona Card'...available from the tourist offices. You can get 1,2,3 or 4 day passes and prices include free travel on the Metro, reductions in some museums and free entry to others.

Tapas We had 3 tapas meals in one day, and enjoyed them all. Try it, it's a very nice way to eat.

Metro You can buy a "10 trip" metro ticket before you start which is transferable therefore go through the barrier then pass the ticket back to the next member of your family and so on. Also double check the side of the barrier you insert your ticket because they are not always on your right hand side!
