Really nice hotel

We stayed here for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. The hotel was really nice, friendly staff, very clean. Breakfast was really good, although not crystal clear whether this was included or not within the price paid.. however this is most likely an oversight. The location would be great in the summer as near the beachfront, as we visited in November, not so hot. Once you get your bearings, it actually isn't a million miles away from the hub of things, ie placa catalunya, la ramblas... subway was a short walk away. If you don't necessarily want to be central this is a great place to stay. I imagine the area has greatly improved since our visit, as there was a lot of building work going on at the time... but that was 1.5 years ago!!!
