Top Local Tips for Barcelona

SITGES IS CLOSED UNTIL MAY Dont waste your time going to Sitges before the end of MAY, all the clubs and pubs were closed.

Trains to Sitges There is a train station within Barcelona airport and you can get to Sitges via El Prat station. - this can take well over an hour with the wait for trains as not all trains stop at El Prat. We've tried this several times but beware - if you have heavy luggage/several peices of luggage or kids - you have to change platforms at El Prat which means two flights of stairs and no lift. We now opt for the much more expensive taxi option, about 70 Euros from the airport to Sitges but at least this only takes 25 minutes. Very expensive but worth it in the long run due to the problems with changing platforms. The third way is to take a train into Barcelona city centre and get a direct train from there to Sitges.

Beunos Aries Restirant at San Sebastian beach Brilliant staff and food no rush and food was wonderful - oh and did I say the staff and food were wonderful.
