Tapas On the paseo de gracias; off Pl Catalunya, is a restaurant called TAPAS TAPAS. Lovely selection, good value, great taste. Lovely way to get introduced to Spains lovely world of Tapas.

Barcelona Barcelona is awesome! Go there; you'll love it. Just don't stay at the Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto.

Overnight Hotel for Airport We stay in central Barcelona regularly. Recently we were due to fly from Barcelona on holiday so decided to try an hotel near the airport. Sadly we chose the Best Western Alfa. Our experience their was terrible. Although they offer airport transfers they were not available when we wanted them and the restaurant is poor and expensive. We would recommend that you stay in Barcelona, maybe near Sants station and get the shuttle train or bus to the airport. You can also enjoy the wonderful food in Barcelona.
