WOW WOW WOW!
This is the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in, fantastic service staff were more than happy to help with anything! The bed was amazingly comfortable and black out blinds meant you could sleep in for hours! Short walk to the sea and a lovely (quite long) walk into town! Would recommend this hotel.... liked it so much that we are going back again this year (2007!)

Will Not Stay Here Again
We stayed here for 5 nights on floor 21, rooms 17 &18 (junior suite). Room 18 has a balcony but if you have young children, I would not recommend letting them outside on the balcony without an adult. There is a CD player in room 18. Room 17 has a bath with a shower. Room 18 has a shower with jets which, is really nice and relaxing to use but unfortunately, the water leaks out all over the bathroom floor and I don't mean drips, I mean a lot of water so you have to shower really quickly and then use 2 or 3 towels to soak up the water. We had a view of the sea from our rooms.
The drinks in the fridge in your room are free. Water, coke, lemonade and cheap beer.
On Friday night, my husband and I got woken by really loud music and some guy talking really loud on a microphone. This was around midnight. The music did not stop until 6am. The music was coming from one of the buildings across the road. To put it into perspective, my husband never has any trouble sleeping where e...Read more

Modern funky workable value for money
This hotel is ideal for a summer holiday being near the Beach (which is fantastic; walk/cycle all the way to the Port area) and with good links back to the City. Not a City centre location but quiet and away from the tourist trail with excellent Metro /tram /bus routes back to Centre.
Small but well designed rooms; see through bathrooms wall; electric blinds with complete blackout and cooling splash pool at 23rd floor;incredible views of the city.
Thought minimalist food was good but expensive however but this is normally a business hotel.
Next to massive new shopping complex with supermarket- Cava 5Euros and good food Court. Try Sagardi the Basque bar.
Paid £50 a double room in August last year what more do you want from a 4 star hotel with free bar in Barcelona???

Very modern & spacious rooms
This hotel is very modern with spacious bedrooms, although a little too office-like for my taste. Was disappointed there were no tea/coffee-making facilities, no trouser press, no bath and the free mini bar is nothing to get excited about. Just one solitary beer amongst a 'selection of soft drinks' and no peanuts or chocolate either! The reception area is a little basic with very uncomfortable chairs. Staff were extremely polite but not very efficient. It's a shame the hotel wasn't in a more central location, it's quite a distance from bars and restaurants and taxis are a nightmare. The views from our window however, were nothing short of absolutely stunning!!

Quiet
The Hotel was well worth it's 4 star rating - very trendy decor, fixtures and fittings. The Hotel was a little further away from Las Ramblas than we were led to believe - definitely not within walking distance, however there was a tube station nearby, which offered an excellent service. Would definitely recommend Hotel to other travellers.
