Although the staff at this hotel were well mannered and helpful, the hotel room was terrible. our room had no natural light we would wake up to complete darkness, it was like being in a prison cell and thats putting it politely. the Walls were so thin we could hear every bit of noise i even thought i heard a cockroach fart from the next room. i wouldn't advise anyone to go and stay in this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and never got a good night's sleep! The windows hardly disguise the traffic noise, which is constant - it is on a very busy main road. In addition, our twin beds were different heights! (we had requested a double), we had to queue for a table at breakfast, then queue again AT LENGTH for a coffee, and the juice machine and toaster broke down. Go for something the other side of Las Ramblas - a far more attractive side of Barcelona.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. It was aa very clean suitably placed hotel, albeit on one of the main roads in Barcelona, you could not hear the traffic during the evenings, apart from a few sirens from the police station and hosptial a short distance away. The hotel is exceptionally clean and has great facilities. Staff are very friendly and would bend ver backwards so as to accomadate you. If your a food lover, the all you can eat breakfast buffet is fantastic! Fill yourself up at breakfast, and you dont need to eat out until early evening! What i would recommend taking is a Spanish-English translation book, as, although the people speak a little English, they were a lot friendlier when you spoke some Spanish towards them.! All in all, a great holiday, and a fantastic hotel!!
