Top Local Tips for Barcelona

Our best and worst restaurant/bar picks BEST: Ciudad Condal (tapas, & try the sangria), Sesamo (vegetarian), Arc Cafe (chill environment with a mix of food), Buenas Migas (breakfast/lunch), Bristol Blue (bar for watching football games), and CDLC (lunch/drinks on the beach) WORST: La Fonda (terrible, terrible food), Amaltea (vegetarian- bland food).

Take Subways everywhere Dont waste time or money on expensive taxis. The public transportation system in Spain is wonderful and in Barcelona is the best. Every where we stopped there was some one in a red jacket with a big "I" button (information). They will point you in the right direction every time.

Getting around As above, buy the T10 pass for the metro as it's easy to use and clean!. Would also strongly recommend taking the Bus Turistic open-air bus tour for 1 day (20 euro/person) as it provides an opportunity to see almost all of the major sites in barcelona and lets you get on/off at any stop all day long.
