This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and on both occasions have had an apartment. I would recommend that you have this facility especially if you like self catering, the kitchen is reasonably equipped but sadly lacking a kettle, but a pan on the stove does as well (what's the hurry)! After a busy day site seeing the terrace is a wonderful way to watch the sun go down and the Ramblas come alive. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with travel and safety tips and bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The rooms were cleaned daily as were towels replaced, bed linen was changed once in six nights which was all that was needed. We have already made a booking to return next year as it is the perfect base for traveling about and as we do, go to the Circuit de Catalunya for the F1. If you want a "five star" holiday, then leave this hotel for the rest of us to enjoy!

If you are Big City enough to handle the "honky-Tonk" and the street creatures and love Bourbon Street, Beale Street and Times Square rolled into one, this is the street and this is the affordable choice.
A hundred yards in the rear are 2 of Barcelona's best restaurant experiences, shopping abounds, the wholesale food market is across the street and during La Merce, Mardi Gras is viewed from your balcony.
The rooms are stark but clean and most affordable and most have balconies overlooking the 24-7 fiesta. The elevator easily accommodates a person and sometimes two and almost everywhere is within walking distance from the harbor to Catluna Square, from La Familia to the Gothic Quarter.
A bargain so long as you have a sense of humor, adventure and economy.
It's even air conditioned.

If location is the most important criteria in finding a place to stay then this is your place. Located on the main street of La Ramblas, you couldn't ask for me. My partner and I enjoyed the great views over looking the main street. Just a walk away from everything... very central. As we had an apartment, we found that it was nice and spacious. The ability for us to cook our own meals was great. For the price you pay, you couldn't ask for anything more. The service that we had was great. The people there are very friendly. We would definitely return back here.

I guess we were lucky, but we got the penthouse!!! The apartment is very central on the Ramblas close to bars restaurants and the old town as well as the metro stop. The decor is somewhat faded, but clean enough. The apartment is air conditioned and there was a reasonable kitchen, but it is the terrace that was stunning. it literally had a 360 degree view across Barcelona from which you could see the main landmarks, sea etc. We spent lots of time just admiring the view. For the money (€100 per night) it was incredible value and left us with unforgettable memories and photos!
