The hotel is beautiful and imepeccably clean. It is small (10 rooms. I bleieve. The reception and service could not be better. The location, just inside the entrance to the "old quarter (casco viejo) is actually superior to that of the Parador.
My only complaints:
1) They said that they had parking but that parking was in a municipal garage which had no private arrangement with the hotel, on the plus side, one could stay there for 24 hours for
9.30 euros. Otherwise you were charged about 1 euro per hour.
2) The noise was horrible. I let it go the first night (Sat.0 but when it became obvious that it never diminished, I lost hope. I have to understand that an old building next to a narrow street will reflect and amplify the noise. Nevertheless, it did become a major issue over an eight day stay. Every night it was unbearable and made it difficult if not impossible to sleep,
