High standards and friendly service

We were very satisfied with the hotel: high standards of cleanliness; attentive, friendly service; imaginatively furnished rooms. It was no problem to us, but someone might find it difficult that some rooms overlook a funeral parlor. An easy walk to a very pleasant beach at the far end of the local camp site. Annabel and Rob were more than ready to advise about travel, local amenities, and so on. We would like to thank them and all their staff for their kindness.

We found our stay at Hotel Arce was one of the most enjoyable for a very long time. The owners and the staff make you feel welcome as soon as you step foot through the door. The rooms in the hotel are very comfortable and are finished to a standard that you would normally find in a 5 star hotel, there is a warm friendly feel to the hotel which is in very short supply these days.
A definite return to Hotel Arce is planned and we would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. 10 out of 10 Don`t change a thing.

This hotel is a really well run family hotel. The rooms while small are beautifully furnished, well equipped and very clean. Robert and Annabelle could not do enough to make our trip really enjoyable and having the hairdressers next door was a real bonus. We were a big group travelling to Baiona for the first time. Every request was handled with great efficiency and a smile. We will be back!

First class rooms, clean, functional, comfortable and extremely well priced.
All areas of the hotel were clean, fresh presentable and the staff take their cues from the very excellent proprietors, Annabelle and Rob. They can be proud. We would recommend the hotel as well incidentally the Baiona area-wonderful waterfront.

For the price, the rooms are excellent, new and clean. There were problems with getting water to go beyond lukewarm, but I guess that will be fixed. Try to get a room over the hairdressers rather than over the cafe as you can clearly here chatting etc. from cafe and terrace until it closes.

We found this recently built and conveniently located hotel to be very smart and comfortable. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We were able to have breakfast, abundant snacks and drinks in the built-in cafe. We were five adults and we would all happily return.

A nice hotel. No breakfast, but they have a cafetaria in home. Place enough to parking your car. Its a pitty that your room is above the terras were are people drinking and have fun.
The hotel is not cheap, but very well. I will come back!

Top Local Tips for Baiona

Take a trip to Panxon Panxon, which is easy to get to by bus , or a long walk along the beach, is a far better location for an evening than Baiona. It has a long beach which is in the sun all day and evening, Baiona does not have a seafront with sunshine as the buildings obscure the sun. There are many restaurants and tapas bars which are significantly less expensive than Baiona and it is far less crowded and does not have the traffic fumes that can marr a trip to Baiona in August.

Outdoor Market, good prices There is a very large outdoor street market on Tuesday mornings until 2PM. This market has everything! It spans several blocks and is right outside Hotel Arce. There is local produce, cheeses, wine, flowers, clothing, jewelry and more. As is usual in markets, keep a close watch on your purse/wallet-but I had no problems. The hotel cafe is a great place to stop for lunch or coffee.
