Initial impression was not good, we parked in the garage, not realising that you had to pre-book parking, and got what can only be described as a dressing down from the reception. Not very polite or understanding about the situation. However, the Hotel refurb worked a treat, nice rooms, reasonably clean, although not perfect, a little dust in places. Beautiful courtyard resturant available, food and service in resturant superb. We had the 11 euro menu and highly recommend it. Breakfast was not good tho. especially the coffe etc out of a machine, worst coffee I have ever had in Spain, dry bread too, recommend going for breakfast at one of the cafes close by. Baeza is great, lots of atmosphere, well preserved old buildings give it an air of sophistication. It is touristy enough to accomodate travellers needs, without being over commercialised.
