Living coasts and a great restaurant. Definately take a trip to the "Living coasts" center. its only 2 minutes down the road from merlewood house and great fun!! Also if you get the chance stop by the "Orange tree" its a wonderfull restaurant but ide think you will need to book.

Great views on the coastal footpath I found a really nice coastal walk and worked up an appetite for a good pub lunch.

Just walk Torquay has lots of hidden nooks and crannies, so worth getting out the walking shoes and making the effort to walk up and down the many hills. Also, the cliff path from the marina towards Babbacombe is fantastic - on a sunny day/evening, it could well be the French rather than the English Riviera.
