Top Local Tips for Adeje

Supermarket rip off Be careful at the Hyper Dino supermarket on the motorway just outside of Coste Adeje. We noticed after we left the checkout assistant had scanned 2 extra items for EUR 4.90 each on the bill. Not sure how this scam works but obviously either goods are kept by the checkout asst or the funds refunded for cash. Watch the checkouts and make sure they do not scan extra items.

sightseeing hire a car! they are very reasonable & you will see much more of tenerife than taking buses.Mount Teide is a must! we hired from airport to avoid the (sometimes) one hour transfer if you are unlucky to be last people dropped off! petrol is by UK standardes very reasonable (about half the price!) Shows up just how greedy our government is!

bus If you arrive at the airport save on a taxi fare and just use the public tranpsort, titsa bus... look up online for lines and numbers, but they are very cheap and very frequent!
