Not a family holiday
We booked Salou Suite because our tour operator highly recommed it as a ideal family location and facilities. It was anything but. Our bedroom was over-looking the street which was full of late night bars and night clubs. My boys are 3 & 9 years old. The services in the hotel were poor and we had to remove our own rubbish and place in a skip outside the main enterance. Night time entertainment was good but no better than most. One night when we were sitting outside someone tried to break into the rooms next door and this was no surprise to the staff. Salou is lovely and I would recommed it, but not staying here.

Fabulous Gardens great hotel
This hotel is surrounded by fantastic gardens. It also has comfortable accommodation - we were in a refurbished room and it was really comfortable. The food was really good and always a good variety. Hotel has been used mainly by Germans but is now getting more British visitors and I would recommend you look at this hotel if going to Puerto de la Cruz.
