hotel tatra is after the reconstruction devided to new and old part. I was staying in the new one and the room was very very big, cosy, sunny and clean. location is excellent-only 2 minutes to the centre. breakfast was tasty, but the restaurant menu was poor

Tiny rooms, a lot of noise

This hotel was recommended by a taxi driver when I complained about the awful Hotel Kiev. However the rooms at Tatra are tiny, the beds are the same. I am 1,70 meters tall and half my legs were out of the bed! The breakfast sucks... The room was quite noisy. I payed 70 euros for the single room which I think it's quite expensive for this hotel.

Top Local Tips for Bratislava

Room for improvement. Use bus 61 to / from airport. Walk from railway station. its downhill. Visit technical museum near the main station. opens at 1000. very interesting.
