Location, location, location! The Jupiter is a recently renovated hotel. It is straight across the road from the beach, although with about 80' of cliff to walk down. The pubs and nighlife start almost immediately to its right. The shops start immediately left and right from the front door. One of the best restuarants in the resort is straight underneath and there's a good Pizzaria and Ice Cream parlour close to the right of the front door. Loads more are being set up on the new beach walkway too. There's some great bars from the British run Bernies (left and down the hill a little) to the Irish bars, Star Bars karaoke - with its raising stage! - and Babylon nightclub. The resort is moving up market and is busy enough without the excesses of the 'Brits Abroad' resorts. Rooms are comfortable, have good aircon and great 'continous flushing' loos - they keep flushing as long as you hold the handle down! Staff are very pleasant and helpful and most are long term having been there every time that I have visited over several years.
