Check in is fast, room view is great with full comfort according the class of the Hotel. Decoration is up to date. Restaurant is good and fast, however breakfast place is too busy and crowdy. A good place to stay in.

we were upgraded to a great room with the biggest minibar ever, nice views over the city and very comfortable bed. cosy lobby bar, very good hotel decoration and well located. efficient staff, recommendable.

Good Hotel. Nice Rooms, a little far to walk

Nice rooms. Great views. Unfortunately, the hotel is a little away from the centre and it is an uphill walk from the underground. If you do not mind the trek, it is a great hotel. Will probably stay there again as it is quiet and nice.

Amazing hotel

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights. We do a lot of travelling and I can definitely say it was one of the better hotels we've stayed at. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, with great recommendations for restaurants. The rooms had everything you needed, (except pay per view movies which the hotel said they are installling), great views over the city and the most comfortable bed! There is no swimming pool unfortunately, but a nice gym downstairs. The hotel is a 10min walk to the nearest shopping mall wihch was great, and the city centre is a 20min walk, however we took taxis everywhere as they are so cheap!! I would definitly recommend this hotel to anyone as the staff are more then helpful and the hotel is beautiful.

Excellent Value

Excellent modern hotel with all the amenities and luxuries you would expect from 5 star accommodation. The standard room was spacious and well equipped with stereo, satellite TV, refrigerator and large desk. The immaculate bathroom was even more impressive.

The LM Deal Seeker weekend rate I got was excellent value (less than 100 Euros per night) and although this did not include breakfast, which was a little expensive at 22 euros, I thought it offered excellent value for money overall.

The hotel is around a 15-minute walk from Lisbon's town centre but there is a tube station close by and taxis are also an inexpensive and effective way to get around Lisbon.

If you are looking for a little luxury at a fraction of the usual price then I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel

Quite an excellent hotel. The facilities are outstanding and the service was superb. My flight arrived early in the morning and the hotel was kind enough to allow us to check in early without hesitation. I would strongly recommend future travelers to stay here.

I travel abroad most months and must say this hotel sticks out in my memories of good hotels I have stayed in. The bathroom was so nicely finished, the room was ultra modern and incredibly comfortable. The staff were very friendly and if I was to return to Lisbon I would definitely stay here again - a really nice hotel.

I rate this as the best hotel in Lisbon ! I stayed there with my Fiancee last week and had a wonderful time. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean, well equipped (with cool sony stereo), and the room we had overlooked the park. We got a good weekend rate and they inc breakfast and gave us a Lazy checkout. Would definitely recommend.

This is prob. the best hotel I've ever visited! The well-decorated rooms have everything you need as expected, with a very comfortable bed ensuring a good sleep.

One disappointment while I was there was that it didn't have in-room Internet access which was a big inconvenience to me, while the Business service center was usually crowded.

Be warned that this place is a bit far from the downtown and it's located uphill. Expect your return journey may require taxi rides, but it may be worth it if you look for a quiet hotel to have as much sleep as possible.

Other than that expect a great stay at this place.

Magnificent Le Meridien

I must say that this hotel is excellent, of all the hotels I have
stayed in Europe this is probably the BEST hotel in terms of service and room quality. I was there for a good 4 nights over the last week of april.

The hotel is on a small hill overlooking the Parque Eduardo VII, near the Marques de Pombal roundabout. You can easily get there by taxi
from the airport or the Aeroport bus service(free if you have TAP
boarding pass).
It is approx 15mins from the bus stop but it is quite a hike esp with
luggage so I would recommend a taxi, which would cost around Euro6-7.

Nevertheless if you decide to walk the hotel is clearly visible from the
bus stop.

Metro station is about 10min walk downhill from the hotel, so if you come
home take a bus back to the hotel, take the number 2 bus or 93(just ask if
in doubt, they dont know Le Meridien so tell them Four seasons which is
next door) as its quite a hike back to the hotel! The hotel is nearby the main sites like Baixa/Chiado and Cais Sodre

Nearby the hotel is the Amoreiras shopping mall which is about 10min
walk or take a bus.

Arrived at around 11.30am and they allowed me to check in. First
impression was the room quality was fantastic, even the standard room is
quite large! Furnishing was top notch. There was a desk and even fax
machine in the room with internet connection(not sure if its ADSL). There is
a safe in the room as well.

The bathroom was beautiful, with individual sinks and 2 showers
heads+bathtub. It was very clean with huge towels and numerous other
amenities!

The walls were well insulated, couldnt hear much of anything once you
were in there!

There are 1 restaurant and 1 bar in the hotel, cant comment on the food as i didnt eat there but the pub was rather pricey which is to be expected of a 5 star hotel. It is quite a lively bar and opens till 1am.

Icing on the cake was that i spent my birthday while i was in Lisbon,
they had a nice little surprise for me when i got back to the hotel the
day before my birthday, complimentary chocolate cake and a bottle of
champagne.

The only downside to the hotel was our view which overlooked the city,
well not much of city as it was blocked by other buildings!

All in all a fantastic hotel and i would definitely stay they again!

Just came back from a long birthday weekend in Lisbon and throughly enjoyed the Le Meridien. The people were super friendly, service top - they bent over backwards to make the weekend great. New clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. Prices higher than average for Portugal but hotel services are always higher and still for European standards quite low.
Top views, quiet location and a great walk to town under the trees on the Avenue Liberdade.
If you are a fish lover visit this town !

Top Local Tips for Lisbon

Recommended Restaurants 5 Oceans on the Marina under the bridge for fantastic seafood. Casa de Leao in the St Jorge Castle up on the hill, for elegant dining and wonderful views, plus superb food and superior service. Espaco Lisboa for a tardis of a restaurant with great atmosphere. Lisboa en Nicht for a relaxed atmosphere and great food.

L'entrecote & Bairro Alto L'entrecote has the best steaks I have ever eaten! The area of Bairro Alto is an excellent place to go out. Lots of nice, small lively bars. It doesn't really get going until 11pm / 12am....

Taxis are cheap! Taxis are really cheap in Lisbon. We took them a lot more than I usually do while traveling because they were so reasonably priced! We traveled to the opposite end of the city for 6 euros!
