The hotel is centrally located within a walking distance from the wery heart of Lisbon. Unfortunately the hotel is very old and urgently needs to be refurbished. Breackfast is included but it is really frugal. Car park is free of charge although is limited to a few places (6 or 7)along the narrow public road in front of the building. The staff is ok.

Suico Atlantico is a great and low budget option for Lisbon. Located near: a Metro station, a cheap cyber cafe, a Pingo Doce supermarket, Rossio train station... despite the Peep-show near the hotel (the hotel is located near the Gloria funicular), it's quite safe and the best location (at this price) we found. A regular breakfast, old fashioned rooms, a internet payed-computer at the bar and a quite nice staff.

Top Local Tips for Lisbon
Tram rides €17 or €1.40 Lisbon has two sightseeing tram tours around the city, these cost €17 each and last about 1 hour 30 minutes. The tour is conducted in an original 1900s trolley car and travels around the winding streets. The Colinas tour, however can be completed on the general tram network (yellow rather than red) coloured trams. These trams are also the original trolley cars from the 1900s and literally follow the same route. I suggest trams 25 and 28, each ride costs €1.40 or a day ticket for around €3. This way you can jump on and off at the sites, which you can't do on the tour! You will not have an audio guide though.
