Lisabon city card Buy the Lisabon city card at the tourist center at the counter of the tourisme center in the airport lounge.Take a bargain with the cabs yourself, it costs ca 8 Euoro to downtown,with the tourist center they offer you an Airport Limusin which takes you 15 or 16 Euro.

Beware Taxis overcharging When getting taxi from airport, insist on driver putting meter on. I was charged €39 for a trip that should have only costed €7 from the airport to my hotel.

transfer from airport get the number 91 Carris airport transfer bus from the airport. It drops you off right outside the hotel Be aware though that if you are catching an early flight home, this bus does not run early in the mornings so you will need to find out which of the regular buses go to the airport
