The staff were very nice, the room was good it was cleaned every day. The cleaner was nice. She cleaned the bathroon each day and we had clean towels and shampoos soap and shower given to us all the while the hotel was very clean the area was very good so you never got board. Felt very safe when we went out at night lots of places to eat and to get gifts to take home went on lots of trips and was helped to book the trips. Really a lovely place for all generations yound or old. The food could have been a little better, it was ok. The restaurant was veyr clean staff in there very good, but chips every day. Maybe we could have had pototes also. Had turkey three times while we were there in the two weeks. Also at night when we had our evening meal there were no tea or coffee or juice at all you could get drink that you paid for as e and my husbabd do not drink at all we would have liked tea or coffee we did ask and was told go up tp the cafe upstairs near reception. They will sell you some, but as we had paid for half board for two weeks I think maybe we should have been given it in with our meals.
Nice and quiet

Myself and the hubby stayed here for a week in October on a cheap package. Hotel staff were friendly and rooms were spotless.Clean towels everyday. I have to agree with other reviews that the food wasnt fantastic but as a fussy eater I only had trouble finding something on one evening. There are plenty of places to eat out though. The resort is lovely, endless beach etc. All in all i'd say we got our moneys worth and would return no doubt. I'd recommend for those looking for a peaceful holiday and not for those looking to party! Visit Bell 3 for Manuels sangria its gorgeous :) Beautiful place to relax in the sun!

We stayed at Baia for 7 nights in September 2007. Hotel was clean. Beds were low and back breakers. We both came away suffering backache! We stayed bed and breakfast only. The breakfast was awful! Fruit juices were very watery, cooked breakfast consisited of stringy cooked egg (which did not look appetising so we did not even taste) and mushrooms. Cold selection consisted of cereal with 'warm' milk, hard boiled eggs, sliced ham and sliced cheese with bread rolls or sliced bread which individuals could queue up to toast. Sliced wheaten bread was also available if you were down for breakfast before 9.30am. after this time it would be finished and no more was available! Breakfast was served from 8am to 10.30am. We had breakfast for four out of the seven mornings by this time we were feeling sick of cheese rolls first thing every morning so we bought our breakfast out in a local restaurant the remaining three mornings. Reception and room service staff were very pleasant but breakfast room staff were rude. They did not appear to know english and they did not appear to know to maintain the supply of crockery and cutlery etc. We would go back to Montegordo again but we would definitely not stay at Baia Hotel. Having spoke to other residents this opinion would be very common.

Needs new management and a lot of money spending on it.
Looks very nice from the outside. Looks good from their website.
There was No entertainment. Could not get served at the bar because there was no barman. Had to ask at reception for a drink. Took over 30 mins to get a drink.
Rooms are clean and dated. Single beds have big wheels and squeak when you turn over in bed.
Maid service every day but times vary. Could be 5pm before she turns up.
Internet did not work. Satellite TV did not work properly.
Corridors are dark and dingy with holes in the ceiling and water drips through. Walls in corridors are stained with water marks.
Lifts break down on a regular basis.
Resturant is a joke. Often opens late leaving people waiting outside.
Food is tasteless, no menu so you dont know what you are supposed to be eating.
Saw guests with slugs in their salad. No one was even interested in apologising to them.
Door handles dropped off. Door locks often did not lock room doors.
And much much more.
