As a family, this hotel catered for all our needs. We were all inclusive, the food was good and there was always something for everyone. The hotel receptionists were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble, even the night reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was fantastic for the older children and the little pool for the younger children. The bar staff and restaurant staff were also very friendly, entertainment staff catered for all ages. The room was very basic, we were in the annex at the back of the hotel. I think that you should request a pool view in the hotel. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away, also the train station is a couple of minutes away and you can get to different locations, markets, etc...
There are plenty of shops and bars around but no night clubs which is great for families. All in all, we had a fantastic week and could not of asked for more as it was accomadation on arrival.
