Fantastic
A friend and I were on holiday in Spain with her parents and decided we'd like to visit Fatima after hearing so much about it and both being Catholic. We made no travel arrangements and just hopped on a train and off we went. Upon arriving in Fatima we just had to hope to be able to find a room within our budget and available! We walked around the corner and there was a hotel with a name that seemed so apt for two young girls on Pilgrimage from England via Spain! My friend walked into the lobby and was met at reception by a lovely man who spoke great English who informed us that there was only one room available and we must see it before taking it as the 5th floor was being rennovated and the available room hadn't yet been done! So I stayed with the luggage as my friend was taken to the fifth floor and arrived back on the ground floor stunned! The room was only 45Euro's a night we'd been expecting double that! It had two rooms both with twin beds in so big enough for 4! A great bathroom and it was all very presentable a simple continental breakfast was also included and there were a couple of international channels on the television! One evening we got back to the hotel and fancied a drink but couldn't find a bar so we asked the same lovely man who checked us in and he opened the hotel bar for us! The service was fantastic, the room pleasant and the price incredibly cheap! All in all a fantastic place that I'd go to again!

Great Hotel Review
As a family, this hotel catered for all our needs. We were all inclusive, the food was good and there was always something for everyone. The hotel receptionists were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble, even the night reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was fantastic for the older children and the little pool for the younger children. The bar staff and restaurant staff were also very friendly, entertainment staff catered for all ages. The room was very basic, we were in the annex at the back of the hotel. I think that you should request a pool view in the hotel. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away, also the train station is a couple of minutes away and you can get to different locations, markets, etc... There are plenty of shops and bars around but no night clubs which is great for families. All in all, we had a fantastic week and could not of asked for more as it was accomadation on arrival. Thanks Montemar for a great week!
