Marvellous stay

from poppy89
We spent two nights at Le Regina for my birthday this year and had a wonderful time. We arrived late, due to a delayed flight, and didn't check in until near midnight. The desk staff and bellboy couldn't have been more helpful, fetching us drinks, coming back to take our order for room service after we'd freshened up and asking if we wanted a swim. Because if we did, they'd have to turn the pool heating on and it might take a little time to get warm... This is the definition of service. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely - beautiful bathroom and soft, luxurious bed. Maybe our view wasn't wonderful - a park and then some apartments - but seeing as we were only paying around £50/night, we weren't too worried. And the breakfast each morning was delicious. For around £8 each, we got unlimited access to a well-stocked buffet, including smoked salmon, cheeses and delicious fruit. Very pleasant. In fact, there was nothing to fault about our stay. I wanted to move into the hotel, it was so nice there. Would definitely go back.

Excellent Hotel with Outstand Staff

from WilliamGodley
I've just spent a wonderful and enjoyable six days at this beautiful hotel and cannot imagine a better experience. The location is perfect, the amenities superior, and--best of all--the staff outstanding. Stefan Radstrom, the General Manager, and all employees with whom I came in contact were charming and totally professional. Agnes, Marta, Gabriela, Monica, and Thomas, in particular, would bring credit to any five-star hotel anywhere in the world. Hotel Le Regina also has a fine restaurant and I found its food, service, and ambience to be superior to that of any other location in Warsaw.

ve ever been to

A stay at Le Regina is something I would recommand to everybody planning a trip to Warszawa. the hotel staff does everything for you to have an exceptional stay, the food is incredible (they have Polands best chef, and the food alone is enough for me to want to go back), the service is great and they have a pool. the interior inside the hotel is elegant and warm, great rooms, restaurant and hall, and still it's a kind of intimate atmosphere that makes it cosy, a place you like to be. I don't think i would go here with kids, but it's perfect for a romantic trip or a trip with friends.

The hotel is situated in the old city, with beautiful surroundings and a whole lot to look at. such as the royal castle, many very old buildings and monumentes.

For those who like shopping, there's a lot of possibilities around and nearby Le Regina.

I loved my stay in warszawa and at Le Regina, it's peaceful and quiet. and just outside there's all this things to look at. I'll definitely go back.

A Little Gem

Hotel and room: charming, luxurious in a modern way. Staff: did their utmost to accomodate our requests. Food: the best meal we had while in Poland. Location: couldn't be better for exploring Old Town!

ideal for a mix of conference and leisure

from A TripAdvisor Member
We have organised a conference at Le Regina occupying the entire hotel. Not only were our guests stunned by the beauty of the hotel and surroundings but we, as organisers, were thankful to the staff who took utmost care of us: from the management level to every other employee. They are very customer orientated and make you feel like you really matter.
Many thanks and all the best for the future!

Good taste

from A TripAdvisor Member
Le Regina is both classy and cosy. Beautiful fasade, and modern og tastful design inside. Staff an manager spoke english fluently and were very helpful at all time. The beds are wonderful to sleep in and the bathroom is a dream. We were three singles in the same room, and that worked just fine. When outside, we were in the beginning of the "Old town" and had pubs, retaurants and small shops all the way to the main square, where we could sit outside in the sun and enjoy lunch or dinner at good prices.
We had a great time, and we belive the hotel had the best combination of standard and site -as far as we could see. This is a place for relaxing, since there is no dance or "action" in the bar..But hey.. it's really inexpencive to travel by taxi, and we found a few nightclubs. Just ask the staff where to go.

Not happy at all.

I chose this hotle for my 15 weeding anniversary. Paid for and expected a roof level room with a balcony (at least that what the photo on the website showed). When found out that we were on the ground level was quite stunned. Terrace in the courtyard was nice, but definitely not what I wanted. When I asked about the possiblity of change was met with a very chilly reception. Needless to say another room "was not available". This was the rule for the "help" we received from the reception desk: about phones, about Internet access, about restaurant reservations (was even told that the restaurant I wanted to go to was not a very good one). The surcharge for LOCAL phone calls was astronomical and calculated PER MINUTE. We were so unhappy there that we never ate at the restaurant nor used the fitness facilities.
The room was beautiful, but the TV was ancient and tiny. Again - not in keeping with the "super duper status" they wanted to convey.
And upon arrival home in Canada we received an adjustement - UP of course - of our bill. Originally they mistakenly put a discount on our bill.

Cool surroundings, extremely thoughtful staff and exquisite food. World class. Also check out sister hotel Diana, same owners and standards but with an uber-modern slant.

La Regina - Terrific hotel

from cnmorris
We recently stayed at La Regina in Warsaw. We received an excellent rate online and were excited about our first visit to Warsaw. We absolutely loved the hotel and the service was excellent! The location is terrific, the hotel is located a short walk to the Old Town Square, which is exactly where I would stay again if I returned. The rooms are very modern, albeit small, but overall we were very satisfied. Also, the rooms are very quiet at night. Highly recommended!

We also stayed at both the Intercontinental and the La Meriden Bristol, and liked La Regina the most (though the rooms at the Intercontinental may have been the nicest by a slight margin, the location cannot be beat at La Regina).

Enjoy your stay in Warsaw!

As cool as it gets in Warsaw

from Hypnotist
My wife and I spent a weekend break at Le Regina. We have previously tried the Marriott, Bristol, Sobiewski and most of the big chains, and Le Regina beats them all in our opinion. Immaculate design, beautiful fittings, a great bed and total seclusion. The location is excellent, and during the week the Hotel Limo (BMW 7) will take you anywhere in town for about 150% of a standard Warsaw taxi. Warsaw is fast developing into an up-market party city, with bars like Foksal 19 and Cube as cool as anywhere in Europe. We booked a superior room with terrace and got exactly what we paid for.

This hotel is truly beautiful, a testament to good taste and contemporary design in a traditional building. I would not hesitate to recommend it as the ideal destination hotel for business or couples. We thought it was excellent value too.

Top Local Tips for Warsaw

Bus from Airport The No.175 bus from the airport costs 3 zloty (about 80UK pence) and takes approx 30 mins. Easy to do with buses every 10 minutes. Also, it is much better to stick to drinking the local beer, rather than non-Polish wine, which is very expensive. A 0.5 litre beer costs 5zloty (about 1.20UK pounds)

"Pierogi madness" You have to try the "pierogis". Kind of ravioli à la polnish. Delicious! Don't hesitate to go in a fancy restaurant and spend a few more bucks to get great food. It will still be cheap anyway. Game is also awsome in Poland!

Chopin, Warsaw Uprising & Old Town Late spring through early fall is a great time to go. Sign up for the wonderful Chopin concerts that occur nightly. Must see Old Town, Jewish Quarter & Warsaw Uprising Museum
